#Pool4Cleanup

In conjunction with the Hiawatha Valley Earth Week celebration.

LPLA is organizing a virtual clean-up effort around the lake and river. Starting Earth Day, April 22nd, we’ll be encouraging folks to embark on their own clean-up adventures with proper social distancing and share their photos with the community. Our goal is to get people outside, give back to nature, and build community during this otherwise isolating time.

Post pictures of your clean-up adventure to social media to amplify the effort, connect with others, and win LPLA prizes.

To participate, make sure to tag @lakepepinlegacyalliance and use hashtags: #pool4cleanup #HVearthweek2020

(You can also email us photos that we’ll share on our social media accounts: info@lakepepinlegacyalliance.com)

Cole Williams reads a poem from her book, "Hear a River Dammed" to encourage spring clean-up efforts in Lake Pepin and Pool 4 of the Mississippi River.

Here is a list of daily clean-up prizes (& themes for the Hiawatha Valley Earth Week) :

Every tagged photo or photo submission gives you a chance to win daily prizes and two tickets to the Legacy Concert (7/18).
